Let’s put ourself in Martha’s shoes. Wouldn’t you be dead frustrated to hear what Jesus said? Well, unless we understand deeply, we probably think it is nuts to do nothing but relying on God’s Word. Just drop everything in our life and do nothing.

This is why I am often chided by fellow Christians for not being ‘Christian-y’ enough because in their eyes, they expect me to blend and mould myself into their expectations. If we keep our preachy-preachy, holy-moley facade, people cannot reach out to us and hence, we have shut them out from hearing the Good News.
