I cannot recall when was the last time I have exams. I think it must be my secretarial exam when I was 20 years old. Then, there were few management courses I attended which required me to complete some assignments. Those were not ’sit down, complete the papers within 1 hour’ kinda exam so it is not considered exam.
I am going to sit for the ’sit down, complete the papers within 1 hour’ kind of exam on Monday night. For me, it is not important whether I passed or not. In fact, I don’t even need to take the exam. But of course, I want to test myself.
Lucky the first part of the exam is a matching assignment. So, I guess I won’t do too badly because it is like kiddie stuffs, isn’t it? We merely need to match the terms in psychology with the explanations. So, it doesn’t matter that I still spell psychology wrongly sometimes.
However, in the next exam to be held end of November, we have to elaborate with subjective questions. I have to be able to explain how psychology and spirituality are different and yet, ought to go hand in hand.
Oh well, I better go back to study my notes and make sure I pass my exam or else I will be the laughing stock of my sons. They are betting that I am going to fail my exam. Time for them to get even with me, I suppose. “Nyeh, nyeh, nyeh, nyeh, nyeh….Our ma failed her exams so she cannot scold us when we do!”
Lucky that I scribbled so much notes. Thank God that I could write down almost everything the lecturer wrote on the board or said. I notice that I have some form of learning disability (perfect excuse) because looking at the charts and handout notes does not help me. I see, I forget. I write, read and keeping fingers crossed, I hope I remember.
