“Bagaikan burung menetaskan telur yang bukan miliknya, ….

I read the book by prophet Jeremiah last night and one verse sounds very interesting to me.

Yeremia 17:11
Bagaikan burung menetaskan telur yang bukan miliknya, begitulah orang yang tidak jujur memperoleh harta.
Pada usia yang muda, dia akan kehilangan semua hartanya.
Pada akhir hidupnya akan terbukti
bahawa dia orang yang bodoh sekali.

This verse is so apt with what I was trying to figure out.

Recently, I have gone back to reading my Bahasa Malaysia bible again after a lapse. I am still having problems figuring out Ayub, Tawarikh and other books. Some of the names are almost similar like Yeremiah, Yosua, Samuel so I do not have problems with that. However, when it is Tawarikh and Ayub, I was like….let’s see…this is Psalm, this is Wisdoms, this is Isaiah. When I bring my Bahasa Malaysia bible for formation and asked to refer to Isaiah, I will be flipping furiously where Isaiah is because it is translated as Yesaya and Mazmur is Psalm.

Now, I better get back to reading the books of Samuel so that I know who Samuel is and why indeed God calls a young boy.
