I absolutely dislike anything related to Christians because many of those whom I met were totally atrociously insensitive to my previous faith. To me they always act weird because they like to be too holy-moly refused to eat anything edible which we had offered to our office ‘resident datuk’ (a little shrine with an old man statue) and even refused to join in the staff camaraderies when we have one.\
I am sure many people can relate to this situation. Therefore I will stay away from colleagues who are Christians. I didn’t understand about their denominations and to me Christians are all equally fanatic. They will tell me that I need to be saved. Saved from what? And when I was an unbeliever I can never understand what it means by ‘Jesus come to earth so that we can live. ‘
Well after a few years as a Catholic Christian now I understand and can explain the above two as below:
1) Originally God created the world as heaven. We don ‘t grow old grow sick and die. God gave us free will meaning we can swing any direction we wanted. But the earlier humans that God created went all the way to sin. Not just any sin but really big huge mammoth mistakes. Those characters in the Old Testament of the Bible were way wilder than any of the p0rn flicks you see now.
This was because Adam and Eve had allowed the Devil to seep into us. Take Adam and Eve as your great-great-great x 4000 years grandparents whom had misbehaved.
2) So God the Big Boss got angry and destroyed His creation leaving only Noah and his family and flocks of animals. Noah was such a faithful person God cannot bear to kill him as well. (Muslims too believe in Noah’s Ark which I believe is Nabi Noh?)
3) That was it. We ended up dead and no more. We have to suffer here on earth. So if you have bad time blame it on your 4000 years old grandma. She was the cause.
4) So God decided to give us another chance. As Christians we believed God make Himself Man in the form of Jesus Christ. When Jesus spilled His blood on earth as a man the situation has lifted up that dead sentence. (Jews and Muslims couldn’t agree on this so let’s not argue.)
5) Therefore we as Christians will die but we will be resurrected. Just like Jesus He died as man and lived again as the Holy Spirit. That gave us hope that once we died as Christians we too will live again in another world. How is this conceivable our human minds cannot perceive. But with faith it is possible.
Now I hope it makes more sense when someone tells you that Jesus died for us because God loves us. God loves us so much He willingly turned Himself into a man. This explains the Holy Trinity that we Christians believe. That God is capable in His Almighty power to transforms Himself as the Father of Jesus as the Son of God and as the Holy Spirit in all three forms.
I will explain in more personal details how my unbelieving mind can come to the stage where I am totally in love with the faith. I totally totally surrender my life future fate and self to God.
