Chapels, churches and cathedrals have that magnificent and awesome presence that immediately put us into a state of submission when we are inside. Back when I wasn’t converted to Christianity, I also felt the same kind of feelings of being in a place where I felt total peace and calm. I had been to many churches in Italy and found so many unique buildings there. The moment I stepped foot into those old buildings and the dark sheen of the pews and altars, you immediately feel humbled.

So, have you wondered who built all these buildings and all the church pews? Ever imagine the carpenters patiently toiling away to bring to us a refuge from the busy world outside? Well, you can have a look at this company who is specialized in manufacturing Church and Courtroom furniture including benches, pews, chancel furnishings, and restoration. Ratigan Schottler manufactures new hardwood pews, pew ends, chairs, and flexible seating. They are also experts in Altar and church chair manufacturers. I have surfed through and notice their workmanships where the old and the modern are blended to produce comfortable seatings for the church goers.

Being a Catholic, I notice the many differences of the type of chairs sat by the Bishop, priests and servers. These chairs all have their own symbolic meanings and the Bishop’s chair is the highest. Kind of remind you of a king seating at his throne.
