Bwahaha….this is my opinon and I don’t care if anyone is offended with it. I am not interested to hear any preachy-preachy stuffs as well, so stuff it.

These words popped out of my mouth so I am going to keep the comments I made just because I can. It is taken from my personal blog.

elegant coral – Bwahahaha, you do not live my life and do not know the in-laws I am dealing with so please spare me the idea of talking about Jesus at a time when people are at their worst. I am very against people bringing in religion to anyone when they are in the midst of suffering or worrying. I trust God will do what needs to be done. Thank you but no, thanks.

This is one of the reason why I dislike Christians so much. They do not realise that it is very hard for non-Christians to understand what is : tell them about Christ that they’ll accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour will save their lives (life everlasting here).

Christians like these who try to ’sell’ their religion is very selfish.

elegant coral – I think I have made it clear. Christians like those are like vultures hovering over a dying roadkill. Don’t shove stuffs to me when I clearly hinted to you to keep it to yourself.

Damn, I love the vultures example. I do not know how those visions popped into my mind but they did. I have enough of people trying to reason with me when my son was dying. Buddhists tried to tell me it is because of karma. Taoists tell me it is bad fengshui. Hindus told me if I try to put a vow to Lord Murugan, everything will be fine. Christians said in the Bible, Jesus healed some little girl by just touching the forehead. What they don’t realise is none of their words can penetrate into a grieving and sorrowful mind.

What I need then was living examples. And I am glad I found my living examples who eventually lead me to Christ.

So, if you are a Christian and feel offended, I can only tell you to ‘STOP, DON’T COMMENT, I DON’T NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU.’

My belief is if someone is going to find their ‘god’ in whatever form, they will.

  1. Hi Lilian, one of those rare occasions when I’m free, was surfing the net and came across your blog. I am a Christian, not offended at all by what you say. Just wanted to share that Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father (meaning God) except thru Me”. As Christians, we carry the anointing of the Lord (thru the Holy Spirit who lives in us) and as we speak, the anointing will flow thru us to touch a person’s heart to believe in Jesus, so it’s not by our work or power, we just share the good news so that people may be saved and go to Heaven (to put it in very plain form). In times of near death, as Christians who are saved, we speak of Jesus so the dying person will have a chance to know of His love so that they can be saved too. Not having the faith to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour (sorry to put this so bluntly) means that person will spend all eternity in hell. And eternity is a long long long time. Of course, some Christians evangelise in their own intellect and strength without carrying the anointing (maybe that’s why you sound so pissed off) but for each individual, we are to come before the Lord in our personal quiet time with Him and He will speak to us thru the Holy Spirit on when , how and what to say. The Lord might even use your prayers to send another of his “labourer” to that unsaved individual – which has happened to me many times. To put everything in a nutshell, hell is real and hell is eternity – and that’s a long long time.
This is just a sharing….God bless.
