I am a Christian, not offended at all by what you say. Just wanted to share that Jesus said "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father (meaning God) except thru Me". As Christians, we carry the anointing of the Lord (thru the Holy Spirit who lives in us) and as we speak, the anointing will flow thru us to touch a person's heart to believe in Jesus, so it's not by our work or power, we just share the good news so that people may be saved and go to Heaven (to put it in very plain form). In times of near death, as Christians who are saved, we speak of Jesus so the dying person will have a chance to know of His love so that they can be saved too. Not having the faith to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour (sorry to put this so bluntly) means that person will spend all eternity in hell. And eternity is a long long long time. Of course, some Christians evangelise in their own intellect and strength without carrying the anointing (maybe that's why you sound so pissed off) but for each individual, we are to come before the Lord in our personal quiet time with Him and He will speak to us thru the Holy Spirit on when , how and what to say. The Lord might even use your prayers to send another of his "labourer" to that unsaved individual - which has happened to me many times. To put everything in a nutshell, hell is real and hell is eternity - and that's a long long time. This is just a sharing....God bless.
