During one of my adrenalin rush brave moments three years ago I proposed to my church previous parish priest\’s Monsignor Father Stephen Liew to do a website for our church. I have no idea how to get it off the ground because I only have a little knowledge and skills. Yet I blurted to Father Stephen.

\r\n

I was only a new convert having been baptised for several weeks as a Catholics. But I have strong contention that a website will be a good way to evangelise to the world. Father Stephen told me that in His time we will get that done. Father left for St. Anne\’s church in Bukit Mertajam not long after that.

\r\n

I also forget about the idea and never give much thought to it anymore. Then few months ago our church called for volunteers to join the Multimedia team. The church is now being taken care by Father FA and Father Henry. I wanted to join but wasn\’t sure if whatever little skills I aquired will be useful to the team at all.

\r\n

Anyway I asked Danneil the person in charge and he invited me to join the meeting. Unfortunately on the day when the meeting was scheduled I was committed to have my choir practice. At that time the choir was at its critical stage and we weren\’t supposed to be absent. Moreover at that time our choir group was planning to do a CD and hence the demanding practices. (the CD project was eventually cancelled due to high copyright fees charged on the music scores)
\r\nI fidgeted in the pew wanting to attend the Multimedia meeting and at the same time dare not ask permission from our choir master. I am a person who like to keep to principles and priorities. I had committed to the choir and did not want to shirk my duties. There was no way I am going to run from practices to join a new ministry eventhough I know that I want to be part of the Multimedia team.

\r\n

As the time was passing by I was getting more restless. So I stood up ran to explain to my choir master about the clashed schedules. But before I even finished my sentence he smilingly encouraged me to faster go for the Multimedia meeting. God bless him.

\r\n

Today the site is up and running. It is the sheer effort of all the team members. Most of us aren\’t equipped with the skills. But God has called and He has given us the necessary skills to get the site on the internet. Praise the Lord for the smooth process. We had it up and running despite of the slow internet speed due to the quake in Taiwan which damaged our communication cables.
\r\nNow I truly understand Father Stephen\’s words – \’In His time it will be done.\’ We perceive and conceive God achieve.

\r\n

All that is left is our prayers that the site will take off with the youths from our church making the site a vibrant community. We have set the ground works and now we shall leave the rest to the youths. May Jesus showers them with the passion to make it shine.\r\n

\r\n’ ‘In His time…’
