The above is Jesus’s words. He assured all Christians that God knows what we want even before we ask. The funny thing is I always relied on this and because of how assured I am, I hardly pray and ask anything for myself. That’s why I sometimes felt shortchanged and got very frustrated. Because I do not ask, I expect God knows what I want and make my life easy.
Maybe it is time I start to get wiser and think about myself for a while. Maybe, I should tell God what I want? Then, I probably wouldn’t go around feeling like the giver and never the taker.
Well, I suppose I should thank God that I have the faith planted in me that He is always watching over me and will not forsaken me. Lord, you know what hurts I have or what joys are in my heart. So, I shall surrender them all to you and let You take the lead.
