Despicable is the name

A despicable person is one who :

1) Borrow lots of money from poor siblings who had to sweat and toil and lived frugal lives;

2) Want to borrow even more money from a newly widowed sibling, eyeing the insurance and other claims she is getting from the deceased husband; (while knowing that the money is all she had to survive till old age)

3) Gives emotional blackmails to the siblings that their refusal to lend more money may cause him to die;

4) Refused to listen to the good advices given one year ago to clear the debts;

5) Borrow from a sibling who is currently not working and this sibling has four kids to feed;

6) Proposing to the sibling to buy up his condo, so that he can continue staying there, without paying rentals (while the sibling lives with four kids in a much smaller apartment)

7) Never remit payments of his clients premiums;

8 ) Dressed up in expensive clothings, drive big car and act rich.

And what does a good Christian wife do in this situation?

a) Shut up and watch him die, getting chased by loan sharks and getting kicked out of his company.

b) Shut up further

c) Shut up even more.

Because when I see my own kids playing with each other, as brothers, I know I would want them to help each other when they are old. But then, if one of them should screwed up his own life so much, asking money from the poorer siblings, then, if that is my son, I would tell him to clean his own shits too. No one can help despicable people like that. Not even God. Because people like those never acknowledge God. Only Money.

And how does this post fits in a faith blog? Because this is when I ask the Lord to grant me the ability to shut up. Eventhough, this directly relates to me. I could have screamed, ‘WTF, don’t we have enough problems already? You still need to feed your own sibling? What if you kick the bucket suddenly and I am left with a stupid condo with your stupid relatives inside? What do I do in that situation? A five digit ‘loan’ which won’t be return is a HUGE sum already and now you want to finance his house for him.”

So, yeah, Lord, grant me the wickedness to see a person going down. Detach me from all compassionate feelings for despicable relatives. If Lord, You are kind enough, help him to clear the shits before they hit the fan.
