The month of May is probably one of the least productive in my make money blogging arena. I have stopped writing for several companies and many of my blogs are untouched for months already. In fact, I have managed to detach myself from obsessively checking on my daily income. I rejected close to USD400 on paid blogging because the items are not something my faith allows or I am just too tired or too busy to bother.
But praise the Lord, once again it is the new month and once again, the money is coming in from the passive income from US plus local advertorials. I just made my second withdrawal from Paypal. Paypal restricts us to withdraw only USD500 per day. I usually get payments from US at the beginning of the month and the middle of the month.
So, with a grateful heart, I thank the Lord for the blessings. And as always, I am reminding myself that the money is fun to spend but at the same time, the money gives me a sense of comfort that there are some left to go around for others.
It is marvelous how the Lord continues to bless me inspite of my painful but brave attempt to reduce my focus on making money and spend it on the community.
The month of May has seen a great leap in my involvement in things that concern others. The number of hours spent on the streets to get to know people, time spent agonising over my new found skill of video editing and video journalism and the perseverance in hunting down people to help those people I met on the streets. These are all priceless experience no money can buy.
The Lord blesses and I give thanks to Him.
