The other day I met a nut who has no respect for my religion and also other religions. Knowing full well that I am a Catholic and I believe in whatever I believe, this nut left a leaflet on my table when I was out for lunch.
Initially, I was puzzled to find a leaflet because I didn’t know who left it. I find it darn annoying to have people leaving their preachy-preachy leaflets on my table, which is my territory and also my private space.
The leaflet has a bold title ‘Are Catholics Christians?’. Without turning the pages I knew where they are heading. Though I have an idea who is the culprit, I didn’t pick on the nut because he is simply nutz. So, I loudly asked another person if she has one too because the person sitting next to me get it too.
The nutz didn’t own up eventhough he can hear that both of us who got it wondered aloud who gave us. Damn…If he has put it on our Muslim friend’s table, he can be charged for propagating Christianity, you know?
But that’s not the end of is. Some of us also have to endure him listening to his religious preaching on the internet. The noise bugs me. But I am also pissed because there are Muslims and Buddhists in the same room with us. So, it is rather impolite to impose on them to listen to those ‘if you don’t embrace Jesus as your saviour now, you are heading to hell for eternity’ kinda cultish preaching.
Arrggh…no wonder people hates Christians! I don’t care how you wish to worship your Jesus. But just don’t sneakily leave things on my table that yell at me that I am the ‘lost’ one. Blardy hell.

I happen to be a non-denominational Protestant. I feel very malu to read what that insensitive person has done to you. I believe that all Christians regardless of denomination should be united in Christ despite the difference. That person that left that leaflet on your place is just … ughhhh… causing unnecessary divisions.

@PC,yes, very insensitive I agree. I think these kind of people with their self righteous pride and condemning attitude have turned Lilian off about Jesus being the “only way”. Lilian is getting very accomodating (about all religion being the same but comes in different “packages”). I would like to tell it as it really is but I’m quite afraid of her
I mean, keeping that protection card from the temple something??!!
