I have some time to kill this morning as there aren’t many patients around to chat with me. So, I went to the chapel with my Alkitab. I have been carrying the Alkitab around with me on most days because it is always in my bag. I wonder what ‘they’ will think if let’s say I am stopped in a traffic ‘operasi’? Will they charge me for carrying a Bahasa Malaysia Bible?
Anyway, I love the Gospel of Matthew because those words were always so sharp and strong. Matthew loves to cast people to the fire of hell. So, there are always kickass parables to read. Those words are what Jesus said.
Here are some verses from Matius 23.
Yesus Mengutuk Sifat Munafik
(23)…Tetapi kamu tidak mentaati ajaran Taurat yang betul-betul mustahak seperti keadilan, belas kasihan, dan kesetiaan. ….(24) Hai pemimpin buta! Lalat di dalam minuman kamu tapis, tetapi unta kamu telan.
(25) Kamu munafik! Kamu membersihkan bahagian luar cawan dan pinggan, tetapi bahagian dalamnya penuh dengan apa yang kamu peroleh dengan kekerasaan dan ketamakan.
I just love the ‘unta kamu telan’. LOL, I have read the Gospel of Matthew a few times but I have never notice :

Is it any wonder why I love Jesus Christ? I love Him not only for His gentleness but for His kickass quotes. If I live in Biblical time, I will be fighting with Mary Magdalene to give Him reflexology. LOL.
