I like this song by Leona Lewis, Footprints in the sand from her Spirit album. Unfortunately, they don’t allow embedding the original video. This is the only video I can find on Youtube. But it is good as it has the lyrics.
Footprints in the sand is a beautiful story of how God carries us when we are too weak to walk. I have this beautiful cross in my room to remind me that I never walk alone. The weaker I am, the stronger God is.
So, can you trust God to carry you when you are too weak to walk? That’s what I am doing right now, trying to comfort someone to cast all her pains and hardships to Jesus because she couldn’t shoulder it anymore. I do not see how anyone humanly can. I told her, “Throw all those pains and all those things that you cannot solve to Jesus and tell Him, take it Jesus, I am not able to do this anymore.”
Now, maybe I should find a beautiful print out of footprints in the sands and bring to her soon.
