My son said I plagiarise Jesus’s words yesterday. And it is a good thing he pointed that out to me.

I made a 1 minute video as part of my assignment and exam. I had attended two months of Citizen Journalism and learnt video filming, script writing, article writing and video editing. The clips given to us were just random shots and we are asked to make a one minute clip out of it.

So, I made a video about one country, one nation. Being the extreme person, I inserted my voiceover to the video clip. It was a rush job and the codec was not compatible. My laptop refused to record my voice. The video editing software didn’t recognise the format of the recording. I need to Google for free softwares to format the recording yadda yadda yadda *sweats, sweats, sweats*

In the end, it was one rushed job. I just made a quick script, narrated it in one sitting and stuffed that into the video.

So, I never give much thought to what I wrote and said. I showed my # 3 son the video I made when I got home. And he said I steal the script from the Bible!

That’s when I re-look and realised that there is some truth in it. My son said I steal the ‘Their tears are our tears too.’ from the Bible or whatever he had read before. I told him I absolutely didn’t do that but probably, all those words have been ingrained in me.

Maybe I have heard too many homilies by Father Fabian about this matter. Maybe it is Jesus whispering those sentences to me. Maybe I really did copy and paste words from some where sub-consciously. Whatever it is, I hope to polish the video and post it on Youtube soon.

Now, I shall leave it to the Lord to see how to make use of the knowledge I learned. I pray to find enough moolah to get myself a decent video camera so that I can indulge in this new hobby.
