Nite, nite, don’t let the bed bugs bite

I like to say this at bed time. Today, my son asked me what are bed bugs. Well, they are a lucky bunch because we now live in better living condition.

When I was small, I slept on the planks board with no mattresses. So, after sometime, bed bugs will start to creep in and I was always bitten. This not only happens at home but also at the cinema. Back then, we have wooden chairs for seats and every show will see my thighs with big bumps due to the bed bugs.

Those were the days. I thought bedbugs no longer exist they actually do. Now, they even have a whole website dedicated to get rid of bed bugs. I didn’t know what bed bugs look like until I saw the photos on the site. Ouch! Good thing we no longer have to live with them.

Lucky kids now living in nice environment without all those little discomforts I went through like bed bugs, worms infestation and dog’s fleas. *sigh* Thank God I can give my kids a better life than mine.
