Of Nostradamus and Ophiuchus

Ophiuchus is referred as the 13th sign and the symbol is a serpent. We have 12th zodiac signs, right? So, the 13th is the bad luck sign.

I was watching this documentary on the History Channel with my sons and we waited and waited for what we wanted to hear. The documentary is about the Lost Book of Nostradamus. I have always been fascinated with Nosrtradamus’s prediction. Some said he had revealed and predicted the attack on 911.

But what I was interested to know is the end of the world. I know that such things are frowned upon by my Catholic church. We do not go into depth about the signs of end times unlike the more modern churches.

However, like all curious people, I must know just for the thrill of it. I told my sons if I know, then, I don’t need to save so much money and should start spending them now instead of keeping for the future.

So, do you know when was it predicted that the world will end? It will end with a fiery ball before 2012. Walau-eh, that’s like so very soon, ok?

But am I going to be so obsessed with it? Nah…why bother? The world could end any minute for anyone. Don’t worry, be happy.

I actually encourage my sons to be aware of all these predictions, cults and etc so that we know what we are dealing with. I personally feel we must be courageous enough with our faith in Jesus Christ and be aware of stuffs like these.
