Do you go to prayer meetings where it could be revived? (Hey I should have my own blog, right?). I once had an issue with the 9-day novena, too. Now though I believe it's a powerful corporate prayer/intercession. Our Lord Jesus is still the center of it as the Blessed Sacrament is exposed. You mentioned about praying in tongue.
