I picked up from Google Official blog that the Pope has a Youtube channel. Now, we can tune into to Youtube and hear what the Pope has to say. I think it is a great idea to see the Pope in this light. Otherwise, the Pope is merely an icon to me as I won’t ever get to know him that well. Hahaha, I haven’t even speak to our local Bishop before, what more the Pope.
Unfortunately, the Vatican Youtube Channel do not allow embedding so I cannot share the videos from the Pope over on my blog.
However, I picked up this from the info :
So that the Church and its message continue to be present in the great aeropagus of social communications as defined by John Paul II and so that it is not a stranger to those spaces where numerous young people search for answers and meaning in their lives, you must find new ways to spread voices and images of hope through the ever-evolving communications system that surrounds our planet
LOL, what in the world is aeropagus? Aeroplane, I know. Oesophagus, I know. Aeropagus does not ring a bell to me. Is it a typo error for areopagus? I can’t seem to find the meaning of aeropagus.
Never mind…if you are interested to watch videos from Vatican and hear what the Pope has to tell us, tune into the Pope on Vatican Youtube Channel. Many of the videos are in Italian though.
So, Hi Pope! Welcome to the internet world, where we can fish in the deep seas in unchartered waters. But watch out for the piranhas and sharks, please.
