At some point, I have started to replace hopefully with prayerfully. There are times when we cannot just place hopes as the bargaining chips. We have to surrender things we cannot achieve or things we cannot comprehend to the Divine.
Recently, there is an issue that bugs me. On one hand, I want to get down to the bottom of things. On the other hand, something bugs me to dig further. And I prayerfully let the matter simmers.
Miraculously, things started to unveil itself. People crossed my paths and let me hear more and more of the issues. Cans of worms started crawling out. I wait further, prayerfully waiting for bigger things.
Given to my human ability, I would have made a grave mistake. But with prayerful patience, I know I am heading the right direction.
So, thank you Lord for keeping me in my prayerful mode and keep listening to Your promptings. Lord, You know best how this shall end, so let Your Will be done.

Yes, as Christians, when things are down, we should be looking at God (prayer), instead of looking at the positive side (hope), like what the world gurus advocate. God bless.
