Psalm 23 – Mazmur 23 : TUHAN Gembalaku

Psalm 23 is the first Psalm introduced to me by my friend, Maryanne. I got my son’s doctor to read it at his funeral. It can be said to be the most comforting words from God for those who are fearful or worried. You can view a beautiful flash movie on Psalm 23 on this site, Interview With God.

TUHAN Gembalaku (Mazmur 23:1-4)

TUHAN ialah gembalaku;
aku tidak kekurangan apa-apa
Dia membaringkan aku di padang
rumput yang hijau
dan membimbing aku
ke air yang tenang
Dia memberi aku kekuatan baru
Dia membimbing aku
di jalan yang benar
sebagaimana dijanjikan-Nya
Walaupun aku melalui tempat
yang gelap gelita
aku tidak akan takut, ya TUHAN,
kerana Engkau menyertai aku
Engkau melindungi aku
dengan tongkat dan gada-Mu
