I just came back from College General and have officially completed the course on Pyschospirituality. The course is one and half months and there are about 10 – 14 external students and several seminarians who are in their first and second year. Father Ignatius Huan is the lecturer.
I must say that I am so surprised I did well in the exam. Call me boastful or whatever but I see it as a self-affirmation and a sign that I can safely move forward with my intended mission, i.e. to take the CPE. 60 marks is the passing marks for the seminarians and I scored almost 80 marks.
Yesterday, I passed up my subjective paper to Father Huan and he congratulated me for having a good grasp of the subject. When I re-read what I wrote, I myself am amazed with how articulate I was with the theories and my real life experiences. I could only credit one person for what I wrote. No, it is not me. And no, it is not Fr Huan too. It is the Lord who gives me the insights. It is a divine gift that I am able to put forth the things in coherent sentences. So, yeah, it is right to give thanks to the Lord for the divine gift of writing.
Now, I am going to re-send my bankdraft to Mumbai for the theology course. My earlier bankdraft was rejected because the bank was too far away from the college where I signed up. It is an online course.
I am going to be in PJ this weekend. At the back of my mind, I have intention to see Sr Mary Anne of Assunta. However, I was hesitating whether to pursue the CPE in Assunta as earlier, I was told that Sr. M.A. only teach the first unit. The CPE has four units. I do not want to hang midway and have to go to Singapore if I need to complete the course.
It is also divine intervention that today, I met Fr Simon at CG. He told me Sr. M.A. has the accreditation to conduct the whole CPE in PJ! I was so happy because it is like my prayers answered. The idea of going to Singapore has been cancelled due to visa and financial costs. Now, if it is in Assunta, I have less worries on the financial side and also lodging. But now comes the big question. Can I leave the family at the beginning of the year? (school opening and CNY) I shall leave it to the Lord. I am not going to make advance appointment with Sr M.A. I shall go to PJ this weekend and if time permits, I will go. I shall leave it to more divine intervention as my husband, children and my eldest son’s friends have their things to do in KL so I cannot totally devote the trip for my own interests.
So, yeah! I am going to take a whole week off next week, doing nothing, not even going for my volunteer work. But first, I have to get Saturday event out of my schedule first. I am suppose to give a 20 minutes talk to parents.

Congrats for completing the course with flying colours. Looks like this round the external students have out-numbered and out-shone the seminarians.
Glad to note that you are getting into the mood of lifelong learning. Online theology course from Mumbai? Can I have more info ah? I am also itching already……..haha
Go enjoy yourself in KL but don’t forget to take lots of photos and videotape your presentation for your readers. Have a pleasant trip!
