Over the last two days, I get all sort of funny assumptions about my God. A few people insisted that their God is the almighty one and doesn’t need to have a son to be the helper. I have seen so many repetitive comments about it.
So, let’s get this straight. My God did not have son because my God is too busy, too almighty, not strong enough or too disorganised. My God did not have a son because of these reasons. God could have hired some personal assistants if these are the only chores he need. He had made things that way to bridge the gap. God has made himself man, in the form of Jesus Christ to be born on earth and live like us. By Jesus’s death, we are once again reunited with God in His Heavenly Kingdom because unless Jesus’s blood is poured out, there is no bridge to build.
For Jesus Christ was born, suffered a normal human life like us (who believe, ok?) and died. Christians believed that. Period. No point to argue on that. That’s the core of our Christian belief and we live and die believing it because that’s what our God wants us to believe. Yeah, call us blind, call us anything but those insulting words won’t change our belief or make us doubtful.
The above is the stained glass showing how Jesus prayed in the garden on the night before his death. He asked God to take away that sufferings he was going through and yet, he said he leave it to God to decide. Then, the next day, he was crucified and yes, he died on the cross. It wasn’t some David Copperfield stunt-double magic, but Jesus Christ himself died. Again, this is our Christian belief. I do not want to go into another round of debate.
And on the third day, i.e. Sunday, he was resurrected and he rise again. Alive. As a man walking, eating, grilling fish and etc. Much later, he was taken up to heaven. And even much later, on Pentecost, he sent his Holy Spirit to fill all his followers with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. Again, this is our Christian belief.
No one can change that, no matter how often you come to my blog to keep on insisting I am wrong and you are right. Or how you call those who wrote the New Testament, kafir or whatever. I don’t care.
Seriously……

Hi Lilian,
I had a reflection last night when i was at church, and i looked at the ‘empty’ church, with all of the figurines of “Jesus” was covered up and the empty Tarbenacles, i was really moved, to think that if it wasn’t because of Jesus’s dying on the cross, we’ll have nothing. I was thinking, how did the apostles felt and thought at that time? Having lost a ‘friend’ who had been with them all this time, a ‘teacher’ who have been teaching and guiding them? They must have been wondering if it was ‘worth to have followed Jesus?’. They must have felt great regret also to have abandoned, betrayed, and denied Him when he was arrested and crucified. This experience of great regret must have transformed into great Joy when they heard and seen the Resurrection of Christ. What Joy it is to be able to find back what you have lost! What Joy it is to be able to undo what you have regreted!
I believe that this is a growth in Faith that they the disciples have experienced, and it is the same that we as believer of Christ will be experiencing in every Easter. God Bless!
BLESSED EASTER TO YOU!
