I found this Youtube video uploaded on June 15 2008. I am not sure when the news was featured on TV though. It is about these three Catholic priests who have signed a contract with Sony BMG for One million British pounds. WOW!
And below is a short clip of them singing O Holy Night.
Their voices are amazing, much better than Josh Groban and Il Divo. Without their priestly robe and with some fashion makeover by Simon Cowell, I bet they are heading for international stardom.
So far, in my Catholic church, I have seen a few visiting priests who have really powerful voices and masses aren’t so boring when they can sing, beside the using boring homily. Maybe I should send this video to my parish priest and suggest to them to form a singing trio like the above singing priests and cut an album to raise funds for our new church building. How, Father Fab? Boleh? With 1 million British pounds, none of us poor parishioners have to be out on the streets selling cakes, washing cars or peddling lotteries, ever.
