Some screwed book about Christianity sold at Petronas petrol station

Yesterday, I was at the Petronas petrol station in Seberang Jaya. They have these little racks filled with small booklets. Each booklet costs RM3 only. The title is very eye catching and it is written in English. I have forgotten the exact titles but it goes something like the false god and etc, all trying to insist that Christianity and Jesus are fake.

Well, I have no problem with that. Say all you want. Print all you want. Sell all you want. Because ultimately, I believe whether we can convince people to love and respect your religion (which is not Christianity), it is another thing. Do you (I mean the author of the book and all those so-called authorities who allowed the sale of such farked up ‘facts’) seriously think that those who are searching for the one true God (which again, I believe is your God whom I also worship as my God) will take that little booklet, read and suddenly realised Jesus is fake and all your religion is real?

I flipped through the booklet and they quoted the verses of the Bible. One of them is about Jesus fleeing from the Jews. I never claim to know Christianity much but as an innocent new convert to Christianity, I know Jesus did avoid the crowd because He knew He still have things to do before He get Himself into bigger trouble. His path on earth was charted and yes, He did escape when He needed to so that He can finish what He was sent to do, i.e. to gather His disciples and empower them.

Jesus, as a Man, born of God, fled from the Jews because He knows He will eventually die on the cross. But our friend who wrote the booklet immediately took advantage of the short para and asked “Are you going to worship a “God” that is a coward?” After that one para, I had a good laugh at how stupid, stupid people can be. So be it. God bless you.

What I can say is - If your approach to your religion is to run down other religions, making God as fools and cowards, don’t you think that your young people too many wonder if their own God can be treated as such? Have these people look at their youths whom I read in the papers today are sniffing glue and getting high, becoming public nuisance in Jalan Bukit Bintang?

I think these people ought to chill a bit and reliase that though we Christians may treat Jesus as God, He is actually made up of the Holy Trinity. Three-in-one. Don’t messed up your mind with the living Jesus who walked on earth with the Holy Spirit (aka Ghost) which we Christians believed lives in us (when we are baptised with the breath of God) and God, the Almighty whom we see as ‘Abba’ aka Father.

When you do that, you are not only smearing our Christian God but your God as well.
