I recently stumbled through many types of blogs. I can choose the channels and I pick religion, living, philosophy, mental health and even healthy living. Sometimes, the sites I discovered are highly informative like those with comparisons on the different religions in the world. At other times, there are those which totally screwed up other faiths and it is so shocking.
Yet, it is inevitable that we get all sorts of right and wrong information on the internet. We can only believe partially and never trust a site completely. Having said that, I love to stumble through blogs when I am tired because sometimes, we do find things that we can connect with immediately.
I have always wanted to take up meditation but I heard that there is such a thing as a ‘Christian meditation’ and ‘other meditation’ that isn’t allowed in Catholicism. *roll eyes, wateva* Since no one can gives me a clear guideline, I never venture into this.
Then, I found this post talking about Running as a Meditation on Fit Fuel. Actually, we do not need to really go into deep trance, with those yoga music and all the mumbo-jumbo in order to release the stresses and the thoughts from our mind. Why not just do some mundane things like running or walking to get relaxed?
I like this sentence :
running is also very good for your head, so lace them up, stay in the moment, put one foot in front of the other, and let the ideas fly.
I must say it is very rewarding to mindlessly stumble through all the blogs out there and discover something new every day. You never know what you gem you can discover. If you are looking for ways to give positive feedback, do check this post.
