Stupid or what?

I realised that wisdom does not come with age. And I also realised that patience and tolerance have their limits.

That’s what happen when a person sold their soul to their god call money, status, image and appearances. Knowing that borrow money from Ah Long (or illegal moneylender) will lead to dire consequences, he still did it. So, it is his own stupidity, his own ego and his own irresponsible behaviour that have led to this.

And there are even smart alecks who think the problems can be solved by talking to the spouse. So, I cut in. I told them, spouse and spouse matters are best left alone. I told them that none of us should bother anymore. Let the irresponsible guy be chased by the Ah Long. After all, we had given what we could afford, advised him since a year ago and if he cannot clean up his own mess, let him clean his own shits.

I freaking hate people who cannot take care of their own affairs and have to bother the whole clans. Don’t 50 years old men realised they are way too old to cause worries to their siblings? Don’t they feel ashamed to be burdening the less financial able siblings with all these matters?

I wish I can give him a good lecture and tell him to repent, be the poor man that everyone looks down but at least, don’t let those who care about him worried. It is damn stupid that in trying to show a good image to the world, he forgets that his own siblings have to worry about him and cracking their heads, digging their own pockets to solve his problems.

I wish I have a heart big enough to say, “Forgive him, Father, for he does not know what he has done.” Everyone has their shares of ups and downs but not everyone hit rock bottom due to their own stupidity and irresponsible behaviour.
