So, I will be earning my badge which will make things easier for me. No longer will people think that I am some nosey relatives poking her head into others’ business. It is also a little affirmation that I am doing fine so far.

We have a little pep talk today. The weather is perfect, the balcony is sunny and the breeze is so cool. The view is perfect and if it is a hotel, I am sure many will love to stay there, overlooking the sea and the skyline of Penang city.

The question is ‘what’s next?’. And I brought up the Gospel where Jesus asked if the young man is ready to follow him. But he said he must go home and bury his father. Then, Jesus asked another if the man is ready to sell his properties and the man said he is not. It is the same thing with me. I want to have the cake and eat it too.

It is not possible now. However, after some chatting, I discovered there is something else I can study through distance learning. It will be a whole year course and the best thing is I do not need to go anywhere to do it. I can do it right at home.

Actually, it is kind of silly to use the parable of the man selling his properties or the young man leaving his family. This is nothing drastic like that. Yet, I am not ready to even leave just a little bit. Never mind, like someone assured me, In His time, In His way…..

Now, I am going to bug someone if theology will bore the hell outta me. I need to hear from the horse’s mouth what is theology. If I am going to push forward, I have to do it anyway. So, why wait? Let’s do it! Yeah! I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. That was my motto and I hope it still is.
