Whatever our religion is, there are some who will stick to the very conservative and ‘original’ teachings. And when these are carried out openly and affect others, well….it really makes all of us who are ‘not in the faith’ really worried and frighten of that particular faith.
Note that this is not a PAS or Islam bashing but I am merely sharing my thoughts. So, don’t get angsty and accuse me of anything.
It is good that the PAS youth wish to share their thoughts on what they think of Avril Lavigne. But I personally find what they said a little bit errrm…strict?, to put it mildly :
Timbalan Ketua Pemuda PAS Nasrudin Hassan, yang mengetuai kempen dakwah itu, penonton Islam ke konsert itu sebagai “mereka yang tidak mengira dosa pahala, syurga neraka.”

Seriously, I have nothing to offer or any constructive suggestions on how we can solve this. But I just want to say that it is rather bizarre to cast us to hell over a concert.
