Menj wants to challenge me to a debate. But I won’t. Here are the reasons why:

1) If I am going to be a blogger, I have to be responsible for my own behaviour and the things I wrote. This is not a personal blog but touches on Christianity. If I make a wrong move, it is not my own reputation but the faith that will go down with me. So, thanks but no thanks. I won’t risk the image of my Lord Jesus Christ and the Christian faith over my own ego. I shall chicken out.

2) A learned person, the one whom was responsible for handling the hoo-haa when PAS stormed the church in Silibin, Perak when they got the rumours where Datuk Azahar is turning from Islam to Catholic, once told me something wise. “Don’t bother to argue about our religion because there is no win or lose. The best thing is to just ignore.” Being meek is better than being stupid.

3) I never claim to know much about my own Catholic faith. And even when I know, I don’t always agree with how things are practise. So, why should I defend something that I do not have much knowledge of? It won’t prove anything.

4) Muslims can argue all they want about Paul. They can bring out all the versions of Bibles and pointed out how the Gospels differ. Well, I don’t care. I do not care if chapters from Luke differ with chapters from John and etc. I do not care if Luke has missed out a few ascendants of Jesus. Dude, these are not important to me. God’s Word is not some ISO certification because it is written by different people (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) at different times. It is Divine Message given to the chosen ones and only those whom has been blessed will be able to see the Truth.

5) I have better things to amuse myself, like ranting on politics than to waste my brain cells trying to be God’s public relation officer. God is the Almighty God and He doesn’t need people like me to defend Him.

Too bad but you can never ruffle my feathers. You can call my Lord, half-naked man swinging from a cross or any disrespectful names but I am not easily taunted because people do that to Jesus all the time. He is used to it. So, don’t waste your time. Try inviting Shadowfox and see?

  1. “God is the Almighty God and He doesn’t need people like me to defend Him.”

If only people realise this truth, there will be less strife.

  2. I think you have misunderstood the intention of the debate and even the TOPIC of the debate. I wasn’t going to ask you to debate with me on the issue of Islam and Christianity, but I want to challenge you based on the topic of this post:

    http://www.christian-journey.c.....mment-1110

To be specific, it will be about the Jews and the Muslim attitude towards them, as well as whether Muslims really hate the Jews or otherwise. In fact I want to debate you based on these questions you have raised in your post:

“Why must ask Malaysians of a certain faith to stick together to be wary of the Jews? Why need to warn them? Like we have not enough problems of our own? Smaller, daily routine problems.”

So there is no need to chicken out on this. The debate can be conducted in a peaceful and informative manner and there is no need to go in a huff about this either.

So what say you? The offer is still open. I find you an intelligent person and that is why I made the offer because I don’t debate stupid people. As for Shadowfox, don’t even mention that bastard’s name to me. He is not even worth the speck of dust under my feet.

  3. Good reply there, lilian. It’s useless to debate with a person like menj who thinks he’s always right and know it all.

  4. And I thought Menj must have died or something. Have not seen him/her in the usual hang outs. Or maybe I have been missing from his hang outs.

Yes, don’t waste time debating with Menj or anyone else on this subject. You may state your position if you want, however wrong it might seem to Menj or others who adhere to that subject matter. That in itself should not invite a debate. After all Menj and the followers of his faith have made known time and time again what their position is vis a vis their faith.

All that matters really is what ever it is your faith is, to find your comfort, your reason for being, your motivator and your goals you find them in that faith. It does not get reinforced because another’s faith is diminished in any way by your reckoning. It is sad that until now, Menj has been on this quest to reinforce that faith of his by looking for pot holes in other people’s faiths. I feel sorry for him as he quite surely has problems with his faith. Dichotomies and contradictions I suppose.

To Menj, all that I will tell you is Jesus did say, the truth will set you free. My quest began with that statement of his. Free from what? I invite you to find that answer for yourself if you care.

And Lillian. Good on you, you shooed him off. This guy is a troller who looks for bloggers who might have a Christian slant to their postings. He will never understand the sacredness in the free will that you and I posses that he does not and will never until of course he experiences it for himself.

  5. Paul - Wow…what an ‘interesting’ blog you have. No wonder Menj ‘adores’ you. LOL. Thanks for your support.

joe - Yeah, there is no end to it so I might as well stay away.

menj - I have made that post very inconspicuous as I know the sensitivities involved with people like you. You know what? Actually, I am pissed with the holy place being used for political propoganda. Based on what I heard, it is to remind people about DSAI. Though they didn’t mention it openly, they do this whenever there is election. So, if you disagree, it simply means that you support Armno and their abuse of holy places for their agenda.

    pablo - Yes indeed.

  6. Joe: “Good reply there, lilian. It’s useless to debate with a person like menj who thinks he’s always right and know it all.”

And its useless to talk to a spineless, arrogant coward whom I do not even know and hides behind an anonymous identity. That is why I despise cowards like you and I respect Auntie Lilian for her beliefs, though if I do not agree with her I will state it openly (as I already have).

Paul Warren: “To Menj, all that I will tell you is Jesus did say, the truth will set you free. My quest began with that statement of his. Free from what? I invite you to find that answer for yourself if you care.”

This is not the place to be discussing about Islam and Christianity and I have no intention at this time to be talking about it, in deference to the blog owner.

Auntie Lilian: “I have made that post very inconspicuous as I know the sensitivities involved with people like you. You know what? As for where “insconspicious” is concerned, I think you have already made it clear with your intentions who you are referring to and if I can detect it, anyone else can. As I have stated previously, the claim that Muslims hate Jews is just untrue so I would be most obliged to dispel any notion to that effect.

  7. According to Shadowfox, Menj supposedly got kicked out for viewing and distributing porn of some organization that I cannot bother to remember. How can you people trample someone just because he love porn and want to share it with the world! Go spread your gospel an leave him alone to enjoy his needs.
