Tribute for Tian Chua’s heroic act for the Coalition for Clean and Fair Elections
by lilian ~ April 16th, 2008
I have watched this video sometime back. It is quite an ugly sight of Tian Chua who was dragged out of the car. He was trying to hand over a memorandum (to members of Parliament) to protest the extension of Election Commission chairperson Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman’s tenure.
But this news from Malaysiakini where Tian Chua is charged for BITING a cop seems too far-fetched. Therefore, the matter tugs at my heart and I am going to show the reality to all Malaysians. It is these people like Tian Chua and his colleagues who fight for a fair elections that we get to see changes in the last General Election.
You can find the news from Malaysiakini here.

“It was only then that Rosyaidi told me that he had been bitten by Chua. I advised him to seek treatment and lodge a police report,” he said.
Chua is charged under Section 32 of the Penal Code, with intentionally causing injury to a police personnel on duty. If found guilty, he can be fined, jailed up to three years or both.
See for yourself. Don’t you admire the courage of Tian Chua and his colleague who was the driver of the car? Tian Chua never lose his cool and yet, the bunch of men there were so forceful.

Those idiots still did not get it! It was not the video of keris waving alone that enraged the Rakyat. There are loads of videos on the net displaying the arragance, the injustice, the high- handedness, the sheer cruelty and the heartlessness of the regime. These videos collectively, among others, caused the the Rakyat to shed helpless tears and eventually rejected the BN regime.
Funny that they still did not get it and worse, the audacity to drag the case to our court of law which will expose more on the ugly regime.

Lilian, do you know the name of the driver of the car? Need to recognise him too for bravery. I’m touched by his continuous shouting of “read me my rights, I’m a Malaysia citizen”. Another good man!

Jon - I do not know who he is but I guess must be from PKR?
tmf - Yeah, when this video gets around, people can judge for themselves how silly it is to bring Tian Chua to court over a bite.

Is more appropriate if Tian Chua charge the man in blue who punch him. Clear evidence caught on tape
