This is a great post :) It's good to be reminded that God is a God of justice and will not let those who love evil get away scot-free with the spoils of their ill-gotten gains. I have no sympathies for those who abuse the laws to oppress others, especially leaders who are supposed to be protecting the people instead of corruptly enriching themselves at the expense of the suffering citizens. Having said that, I believe God is merciful and will never turn away who truly seek him and want to turn away from evil.

Your post reminded me of this book I am planning to reread called "The Cure For A Troubled Heart - meditations on Psalm 37" by Ron Mehl. It's a really good book for me because it reminds me to keep looking to God for the answers, to trust Him, to rest in Him. If you're looking for new books to add to your collection, I can't recommend this one enough.
