My church has a youth gathering for those who are in Form One to Form Four. They call it the Junior Youth Group gathering and is held every month. Meanwhile, the older ones like my son who has been confirmed (but hasn’t ‘fly away’ from the church) and his friends will co-ordinate the programs, conduct the praise and worship and share the faith with the junior group.
It is a good way to get our children to be involved in this gathering because it builds our child’s esteem, train them to be leaders and give them a good time as well.
Last week, they have a skit and I went there to video the presentation. I was totally impressed with it because of the music and especially the lighting effects. I am not sure why but the ‘Jesus’ seems to shine and the ‘God’ sort of ooze awesome-ness eventhough they merely use the traditional OHP light to create it.
Watch it! It is good.
